 A few days back we wrote about the Agri crisis we indeed do things when we do not have another choice to do that.

But here we not going to criticize anyone but to utilize the opportunity  presently we have

Farmer Producer Organization was created in the past. What are the benefits of it?

This initiative was started a few years back.  The main purpose of this is to give farmers a platform for their produces.

They are proving to be very good options to farmers, it is a replica of AMUL Where all milk producers are a stakeholder in the entire ecosystem.

All get profits sharing in the business after all expenses, last few days when we checked the truth of FPO working in our country we came to know the fact that farmers are getting a good price for there produce.

First, let's check about FPO It is an organization of  small and marginal farmers who are stakeholders 

The main purpose of it is to market the farm produce, give training to the farmer in modern technologies, and use government programs for their betterment.

there are several FPO in-country who are working as aggregators, giving benefits to farmers and end-user.

It is easy for everybody to deal with FPPO than the individual farmer, here every farmer gets the benefit of size whereas the consumer gets the quantum in a single go

No long-term contracts are also happening with FPO to get assured supply with the best quality products. It is a win-win situation for all.

The welfare of farmers is possible as all are equal partners with a common goal

India's largest commodity exchange i.e NCDEX is actively supporting the FPO to realize the price for products that will be produced by farmers.

Anybody can start FPO with a minimum no. people to fulfill the criteria. Here one interesting fact is that corporates are coming to FPO for their long-term requirement.

It is the easiest route for farmers to become agripruner than going solo. All the benefits which are coming to farmers due to FPO are far more than that of an individual.

Different training, marketing activity, market research, and other things can be done easily with this with minimum costing.

There is a way to defuse the Agri crisis, all is needed is that we have to take control of the situation rather than run away from it.
